Dixon Golf Has Green Balls
![]() Dixon Earth Everything seems to be going green and Dixon Golf is trying to make a splash by introducing new golf balls that are made of 100% recyclable material. They also claim to not lose any playability. Not only are the "Dixon Earth" balls made of recyclable material- but they've also introduced a program where you can send them back used and bruised balls to be recycled and you received your next package at a big discount. Of course you could have problems if you're like me and you don't wear out your balls as much as you lose them. Tough to send back something you can't find.
Dixon Golf [ comments ] PapaJoe says:Uhhhh, what??? You've got to be kidding! Send me some test balls and I'll send you back some test results! What other gimmicks are golf ball manufacturers going to come up with? As one of my old college professors used to say: "If it's too good to be true, it ain't!" Recycleable golf balls at no cost??? What's the scam? What's the cost? What's the "True Story?" Please don't insult my lower than average IQ! 7/18/08
TaylorFade says:I think he meant "no cost" as in performance cost (I hope). I'm totally down with recyclable golf balls. For some reason I have an aversion to playing a ball for more than one round. These would save me a ton of money, but last time I checked urethane wasn't exactly "green." 7/19/08
klangdon says:I feel like its a little deceptive. When I see "green" ball, I think it means biodegradable. 7/19/08

and I was thinking how hard it would to find about everywhere, but in the dead fall grass, LOL Spike [======> 7/20/08
PapaJoe says:Kickntrue: They should be free! At least the first six dozen! I use that many during one round of play just to make sure they are worthy of buying! So, "Dixon" send me 72 of your balls and I'll give you an honest opinion! Ha! And then pigs will fly!!! 7/26/08
