Guess who is the favorite to win the U.S. Open at The Olympic Club?
If you guessed anyone other than Tiger Woods, you should be ashamed of yourself. Seriously, who else would the oddsmakers list as the favorite? While Tiger is the perennial favorite to win (every golf tournament), several golf I decided at the end of last year to root for Luke in all four majors in 2012 because I'm tired of golf fans saying Luke is not the true number one because he's o'fer at the majors. He is too talented and too consistent to be on the Best Without A Major list for his entire career. Who do you want/think will win the U.S. Open? Favorites to win U.S. Open, according to Ladbrokes:

When Luke Donald finally wins a major, I will be sure to include you in the mass email I am planning to send out. 6/6/12
Hard to argue against Tiger as the favorite, and I'm behind him in his quest for the majors record. For my second pick, I'm kind of rooting for Lee Westwood. He seems like a cool dude, he's a great ballstriker and has posted 7 top-5 finishes in the Majors over the past 5 years. I'd rather see him win one than Luke. 6/6/12
Luke Donald's problem at Olympic won't be his driving. It is his inability to hit greens in regulation that will be his downfall. Luke excels at putting and getting it up & down (or up & in as Johnny Miller says). I suspect around the Olympic greens there will be fewer chances for Luke to do his thing. 6/6/12
If not Tiger, I've got to go with Kuchar or Dufner. Both are tearing it up right now. If I had to pick between them, I'd go with Dufner. 6/6/12
I'm surprised to see Westwood favored over Mickelson, though I guess one could argue that Phil has a better chance of finishing second than anyone. 6/6/12

Tiger in the past was the prohibitive favorite in every event he played, but since the incidents of 2009 and his present swing changes he has played like the majority of PGA tour players, hot one week, not so hot the next. He won Jack's event so now he's back. Prove it. He won Arnie's tournament and was proclaimed back and then went out and played his worst ever Masters, was a non factor (missed cut?)at Quail Hollow and then was not a threat at the Player's, though I'll give him credit for finishing for the first time in 3 yrs. He needs to string some consistency together before I start laying any $$ on him. Personally I hope he misses the cut, I'm not a fan. 6/6/12
Tiger is looking good, but not many players look better than Dufner. I'm picking Dufner. I would love to see Luke win at Olympic. Might be one of his best chances at a major. 6/6/12
Considering most of the past US Opens at Olympic, I'd take either Casey Martin or Dennis Miller to edge Tiger by one. 6/6/12
How does one wager a legal bet for the US Open or any golf major for that matter? Can I drive to the local OTB and place a wager? BTW: Tiger looks good to win it but so does any top 50 player. 6/7/12
