The start of the 112th U.S. Open is less than two days away, which means it's time to memorize the broadcast schedule so you don't miss a minute of the action.
The live television coverage will switch back and forth between ESPN and NBC for the first two rounds starting at 9:00 AM PT each morning, and the weekend coverage will be broadcast exclusively on NBC starting at 1 PM PT. Tip Your Editor [ comments ] I've already got the app downloaded. I wish the ESPN/Comcast deal would go through already so I could watch the ESPN feed on the ESPN app, too. Oh well. Hopefully, I won't have the same issue I had with the Masters app. There was an issue with my specific phone model, and I had audio, but no video. 6/12/12
I've got the schedule printed and the apps loaded.... hope to see some of on my PC 6/12/12
looks like tiger, phil, and bubba will be marquee both days which is nice...keep forgetting about the time change though...friday evening will have some good golf... 6/12/12
For the east coasters this prime-time major championship golf is fantastic. I'm liking these US Opens on the west coast. Aside from the threat of fog it's ideal. I know that some of the great courses of the world are located here but rain has a way of F-ing up a US open and June is right in atlantic hurricane season. 6/12/12
the Masters and US Open hates Asia. there is only one station that covers them and it's sparse. the apps won't work if you're outside the US. the Open Championship is different because it's covered by the BBC and the PGA is cheap to purchase the rights. 6/12/12
Figures. Same issue I had with the Masters app- Audio but no video. I'm beginning to think IBM hates me. 6/14/12
