Dustin Johnson returns from back injury, not suspension By mustang6560 on 5/30/12
I'm glad to see Dustin Johnson back in the lineup for the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club following a two-month layoff.
The five time PGA Tour winner has had a rough start to the 2012 PGA Tour season. Following off season knee surgery, Dustin suffered a back injury while trying to lift a jet ski the weekend before the Masters, which forced him to withdraw from the first major of the year (Why the heck would you try to lift a jet ski the weekend before the Masters!?!). The two month hiatus from competitive golf led some to question the underlying reason. Some even wondered if Dustin was serving a suspension, which he promptly denied. Regardless, the South Carolina native is excited to get back to playing golf for the first time since the WGC-Cadillac Championship in March. read more Image via Flickr, Keith Allison Did I miss something? what did they think he got suspended for? Smoking pot would be my guess. Glad DJ is back and healthy. 5/30/12
@Banker85- Yes, some are saying it was a drug-related suspension. www.cbssports.com/golf/blog/eye-on-golf/19053045 5/30/12
