David Frost won his third career Champions Tour title Sunday at the AT&T Championship but the story out of TPC San Antonio was Mark Wiebe's "humorously foul tirade".
Watch the humorously foul tirade During the first round of the AT&T Championship, Mark missed a short putt which led to an outburst that The Golf Channel wasn't prepared for. I don't know much about the Oregon native but I imagine this wasn't the first time he's yelled unseemly things at himself on the golf course and I doubt it'll be the last. But unfortunately it was caught on camera and broadcast live I know it's not professional but I can't possibly judge Mark for his behavior as I still curse on the golf course. Sure I'd like to say I'm better than that but I'd be lying. Hopefully The Golf Channel learned its lesson and won't put a live mic near Mark in the future. read more Read an interesting golf article? Whether it's from Wiebe or Tiger or you or me, it's just part of a very frustrating game. Never will forget one of my first rounds. I was with my best friend and his dad. We were about 14 at the time. My friend's dad was a rank hacker with a Vesuvian temper. After missing a tap-in, he threw his putter about 40 yards back up the fairway, and walked after it while spewing a profane tirade at the top of his lungs. The tears were streaming down our cheeks as we tried to hold in the laughter because, after all, we needed a ride home! 10/30/12
