Relive Bubba Ball At The Masters By mustang6560 on 5/1/12
Bubba Watson's recovery shot on the second playoff hole of the Masters will be remembered for years to come. But the left handed golfer hit 73 shots in the final round before the "Shot Heard 'Round the World" en route to his first green jacket. And a friendly user at Vimeo put together of video of each shot for your viewing pleasure.
I wonder how the Vimeo user was able to score the Masters footage. The fine folks at Augusta National usually have the highlights under lock and key. watch video Image via Flickr, pocketwiley Did I miss something? Tip Your Editor [ comments ] The shot hit at 0:51, the amount he rotates his hands through the ball and into his finish is just unreal. It's just one end of the spectrum, the other being about 0:40 when he finishes super low with almost no rotation. There are lots of golfers who can make a ball do amazing things in the air - via set-up, ball position, swing path, grip, etc. But I don't think anyone has ever controlled a ball so much with the hands as Bubba. 5/1/12
that 0:51 shot and a lot of the others - you can hear the wizzzzz from the ball spinning and cutting through the air. Kind of awesome... 5/1/12
And just like that, the video is gone. The guy who made the video received a notice from ANGC to take it down. twitter.com/#!/whileseated/status/19775909538890 5/2/12
