Rory Goes Lefty
By Torleif Sorenson on 10/17/14
On Wednesday at the PGA of America's perennial silly-season event, the "Grand Slam of Golf," Rory McIlroy found himself in a spot of bother with his tee-shot at the 17th hole... and decided to play his recovery left-handed.
The truly great players usually find a way to save par — as Rory did. However, it was the reigning U.S. Open champion, Martin Kaymer, that outlasted Bubba Watson in a playoff to win the event.

Before I clicked the video I was like Oh great, this little snot is going to flip the club over and hit some sort of left-handed high, soft draw to the middle of the green from 200+ yards out like it's nothing, furthering my disillusionment with my own stupid swing and this whole dumb game. Thankfully that is not what happened.
I think it's more amazing that he still made par.
