Win A Trip To The World Am!

The World Amateur Handicap Championship is in Myrtle Beach from August 30 - September 3. In what is probably the best oobgolf giveaway of all time- the World Am has been gracious to offer us a trip to the event including entry, airfare, hotel and car rental! So basically- one of you is getting HOOKED UP! All you have to do is tell your boss to shove it!

Hosted in Myrtle Beach, SC, the World Am, as it is commonly known, is the largest amateur golf event on the globe; attracting over 3,500 golfers of all skill levels from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries.

The tournament consists of four days (18 holes per day) of individual stroke play golf (net). Players are assigned to and compete within a flight based upon gender, age and handicap index: Men (49 & Under), Sr. Men (50-59), Mid Sr. Men (60-69), Super Sr. Men (70+), Women (49 & Under), Sr. Women (50+). Prizes are awarded handed the top finishers from each flight. In addition, all flight winners and ties advance to a 5th round, 18-hole "Flight Winners Playoff" to determine World Champion. Skills contests and random drawing prizes are also each day.

In addition to golf, the event features four nights of the World's Largest 19th Hole. Players and guests enjoy open bar, food from a variety of local restaurants, entertainment, and an interactive golf expo spread across the entire Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

This contest is open to any oobgolfer and frankly, any of your friends you send through this specific link. You must sign up on their site, as they are the ones giving it away. You can make us look good by all signing up!!

It sounds like a great time, i too would love to win. i could make the time, but just could not afford to go unless i won. maybe someday. if i do not go, i can't wait to read the posts when everyone gets back.
