A shirt is a shirt, right? Well- sometimes, unless it's extra-special awesome like the Antigua golf shirts I tried out.

The truth is anything I say about Antigua will be scoffed at, because you think I'm just trying to suck up to Antigua and score myself free shirts. Well... you'd be wrong. On a serious note, the two different shirts I wore were pretty fantastic. They were definitely a step up from what I'd normally wear. My wife really did say I looked nice the day I was wearing them (and she doesn't say that every day). I'm not an expert in apparel, so I can't tell you how this or that fabric compares, blah blah blah, but they are really nice shirts that retail for $65-$75. High quality and does what it says it does. Went golfing on a warm day, and sweat was not an issue! Antigua is also the maker of Slazenger Golf Gear- a brand you may be more familiar with. Being retired $75 shirts are not on my list. I have some "Greg Normans", "Tehema" and "PGA Tour" that are very nice and didn't cost $75. They must have been on sale. Tell me where I can find an "Antigua" on sale. Love to try it. Not too many babes on the course at my age to hit on me, alas 10/14/10

 jeremyheslop says:I can say that golf shirts or any clima/max/lite/etc shirt for golf is much better than the standard polo material. I just wish they weren't so darn expensive. Guess it will only be golf shirts for b-day and Christmas. 10/14/10
