Forest Akers Golf Course

Forest Akers is home to two great golf courses, a learning center, driving range, short game facility and two golf shops. The West Course is the home of the Michigan State University golf teams and hosts tournaments for both the men's and women's team annually. Many of the games' best players have been challenged on this course.

It's been high on my must-play list for a long time and it greatly met my expectations. Play was slow due to the golf team practicing for a tournament the next day, and the staff was very apologetic and accommodating. First class service in the clubhouse too. Course was in -excellent- shape too. Loved playing there and will return.

West is a spectacular championship golf course, while the east provides a fun challenge for a little less money.
