But local real estate developer Hunter Emerson recently purchased Parkview with plans to bulldoze the course and build 170 homes on this 80-acre property, so now, Parkview is also endangered.

This popular executive-length course features gentle hills, a wide variety of trees, 18 bunkers, one lake, and a pond. Parkview also has a reputation of opening for the season earlier than most courses in the Twin Cities metro.

One of the popular annual events here is "Glow Golf," played on a number of Fridays and Saturdays during the summer. Just as it sounds, this event is played after dark using a Tracer Glow Ball and glow sticks on the tee boxes, greens, flag sticks, and around the hazards.

It was early season so the course was predictable in pretty rough shape, The price was a little steep for an executive course and there were balls everywhere on a few holes that were in eye shot of the range. It was a decent play though, just not really the price I think was fair.
