Tobacco Road Golf Club

Pinehurst golf has never been the same since the opening of Tobacco Road Golf Club. Located in the heart of the North Carolina Sandhills, Tobacco Road is a course of such uncommon beauty, it will capture your imagination and thrill you with its creativity. We feel rewarding accomplishments are seldom easily gained but pulled off with the odds seemingly against you. We do not guarantee your best round the first trip 'round The Road, but we are certain you will remember the ride!

Rates shown are high season; mid March - mid April. Lower rates are available during off and shoulder seasons.

Love this course, played the disk Tees and had no trouble carrying the waste area's. I carry the ball 230 yards with the driver. I will be going back, great test of target golf, the staff did a great job in making sure we enjoyed out day.

Use your head and you'll do fine. Would play it again. To bad this course is out in the middle of BF Egypt. This is true target golf. # 1 & 2 could ruin your whole day only because you have no idea where you are going to get to the hole. Our 4some all hit the fairway on # 2 and still had to ask a ranger where the hole was for our 2nd shots.

a thrill ride that can be appreciated by anyone that plays golf, and most that don't. We played from the disc tees and there were several shots that demand a great hit from the tee box, if you aren't long with your driver, play up. ENJOY and take pictures when you can.

Played "The Road" multiple times (over 20) and always in impeccable shape. Pace of play is an issue, but to be expected with so many blind shots.

Awesome course, Mike Strantz always has a great design. This management team keeps this course in top shape. Even in the extreme heat we are having here in the Sandhills the greens are perfect.

One of the most interesting courses you will ever play. Each hole requires you to think and plan your way through. This is all target golf.

Only down side to Tobacco Road is the pace of play. (5 hours or more) If they had carts with GPS this probably wouldn't be as much of a problem.

The most visually challenging golf course, #1 really sets the standard for the rest of the day. One of my favorite course to play.
