Thompson Oaks Golf Course

This par-29 executive course is a David Kirscht design, owned and operated by the City of West Saint Paul.

Course hours will vary depending on daylight hours and weather conditions. It is primarily open from 6:30 a.m. to sunset, but will vary with the time of year. Tee times are available up to seven (7) days in advance. Rates shown below are for nine holes with a power cart.

Today was my first visit to this City of West St. Paul operated public course and as a new golfer was very pleased with Thompson Oaks. The staff were friendly, and the prices very reasonable. I hacked my way through the 9 holes of this par 29 course in 2 hours and still had 2 of my 3 balls with me when I left. Water does come into play on holes 3,5,7 and 9 with 5 and 9 requiring a tee shot over the water. A handful of bunkers are dotted around the course to catch the occasional loose shot. While this course may not challenge more experienced players, I was very happy as a novice golfer with the level of difficulty and I will definately return to play this course again.
