![]() Mason, OH 45040-2006 www.theGolfCenter.com 513.398.7700 This 31-hole, public-access facility is located about 22 miles from downtown Cincinnati. Most prominent here is the Grizzly Course, which was designed by Desmond Muirhead and Jack Nicklaus. The Grizzly hosted a PGA Tour event from 1973 to 1977, followed by an LPGA event from 1978 through 1989, and then a Senior Tour event from 1980 to 2001. The peak-season rates (with cart) for the Grizzly are $39 weekdays and $49 on weekends before noon. (After 12:00 p.m. on weekends, the rate is $39.) The Bruin is a 9-hole, double-tee course. Par is different between the 3rd and 12th holes, so our scorecard and mapping is for 18 holes to cover the difference. The 18-hole walking rates are $14 weekdays and $15 weekends. Course Details
Average Hole Difficulty
This was a tough course for the yardage, we usually play most courses at 6400 yards around here. The course has 11 holes with water coming into play. Neatest hole was #2 North a par 3 186 yards with wind in your face and a pond that covered at least 170 of it. Oh, $34 over age 55 and $39 under 55 during the week is a bargain. A must play course.
