The course at Thunder Hill Golf Club holds the rare distinction of having the highest course and slope rating of any golf course in the state of Ohio. At one time Thunder had nearly 100 water hazards, but in 1997 the course underwent extensive renovations eliminating many water hazards, re contouring fairways and adding five sets of tees, all this to make it the best golf course and golf experience in Ohio.
