Colwood National Golf Club

Located in north Portland and accessible from I-5 and I-205, this course opened in 1929 with a design by architect Arthur Vernon Macan. Three sets of tees stretch the course from 5,242 to 6,158 yards on both sides of the Columbia and Whitaker Soughs.

The standard walking rates are $26 on weekdays, $30 on weekends (carts are $30).

Not the toughest or most interesting track, but enjoyable for a relaxing round. Course and greens in particular were in excellent shape in July, probably the best greens I have seen on a public course.
