RedTail Golf Course

This 18-hole course, newly renovated and upgraded to championship status, is a challenge for golfers of all levels. Rolling hills, picturesque water hazards and tree-lined fairways greet you on this easily walked, player-friendly course. Featuring four sets of tees from 5601 to 7107 yards from the back tees. RedTail holds a course rating of 74.4 and a slope of 136. We have 45 bunkers and six lakes which come into play on ten holes.

I played after the womens group. it took me nearly 3 1/2 hours to play 9 holes. I won't go back on womens day. I was told that they are always that slow. Then they ask us to turn off the game in there bunkers so they could talk. The last complaint is about all the goose crap. it is everywhere it was really bad. They have a problem that reall needs to be addressed. Now for the positives. The course was great and well groomed. I would describe this course as fun and challenging. A great design and combination of risk reward. It was in my opinion more challeging than any place I have played in Portland. I can say that from a single digit handicaps view point it is much tougher than bandon, pumpkin, or the reserve. they just need to clean up the women group and the geese and they have a winner.
