Blue Mountain Golf Course

Blue Mountain GC is a rolling, hilly layout located near Interstate 78 in Fredericksburg. The pro shop and snack bar were recently renovated. The course is co-owned with nearby Iron Valley GC in Lebanon and Lebanon Valley GC in Myerstown.

Second time I have played here. Most greens are tilted heavily. They also sprinkled in a few two tiered greens. A challenge to putt. Not a long course but you have to know the pin placements and where to put your approach. 15 is not a very fair hole though.

Average local course. A few tough holes. Location on some greens a must. Very playable

Short, Not overly spectacular, but reasonably priced and fun enough.

Great course. Was in great shape. Has some big greens which can make it tough to get it close to the hole on the 2nd shot. Not expensive to play which works for my budget.

Review saying greens are treacherous is the understatement of the century.
Greens are underwatered and severely sloped to the point where a 5 foot putt could run all the way off the green when missed.
PGA Tour players would have a difficult time on these greens. Since most of us aren't..., play somewhere else if you want to have a good time.

The Play and Eat special (basically a rack of ribs for $1) will be the only reason I go back.
