Paradise Valley Golf Course

This course is owned by the County of Solano, managed by KemperSports, and located about halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento. This Robert Muir Graves design features relatively level with a few creeks in play and fairways lined with mature oak and redwood trees.

Standard non-resident rates with a cart are $58 Mondays through Thursdays, $63 on Fridays, and $74 on weekends. Resident and senior discounts are also available.

I was fairly impressed the first time I played here. The course and club house were very well maintained. I really enjoyed the putting green area where there are outdoor speakers playing jazz to get you loosened up and excited. The only awkward part is that the practice green is directly behind the 18th green, so if you over shoot 18, you're in an awkward situation. Great staff. Pace of play is pretty sloooow on weekends. Really need to improve there. Will definitely play again.

Paradise Valley is the flatter sister course to Rancho Solano. The holes aren't as interesting as Rancho Solano, but a fun course nonetheless. The tips stretch out to over 7000 yards.

A beautifully maintained, manicured muni. Excellent layout. Excellent staff. Well maintained equipment with GPS integrated carts. One of my faves.
