Reading Country Club

The "Country Club" name dates to the course's inception in 1922, when it opened with a design by Alexander Findlay. Ownership changed hands several times, but was purchased by Exeter Township in 2006, after which the course opened to the public. It is currently managed by A&M Golf Management Services LLC.

The jury is still out. Not a bad track. Very tight early. First few holes feel like a shooting gallery. $25 after 2 pm was a great deal.

Classic old course. Mature, short, small tricky greens. Awesome clubhouse.

Great challenge for a short course. Excellent price too. It's interesting to read about the history associated w/ the course too...Byron Nelson was the pro here for years.
