Schuylkill Country Club

Officially opened on approximately 95 acres as a 9-hole course in 1921. The original nine holes are essentially now #1-5-6-7-14-15-16-17 & 18. In the mid 1940’s the club acquired an additional 54 acres of land and world-renowned golf course architect Donald Ross was hired to redesign the original nine holes and add nine more. Some changes have been made over the years but whenever renovation or restoration is needed, care is taken to maintain the original design as much as possible.
