The par 71, 6,300-yard layout has some of the finest conditions in the area. A diverse mix of holes, thick patches of trees, and occasional water hazards combine to make Valley Green Golf Course fun to play.

The course, recently under new ownership, has undergone extensive improvements. The new Clubhouse, home of Hogan’s Restaurant, paved parking lot and cart paths, outdoor pavilion and target range are among the many improvements you will see on your next visit.

Course tends to be short and narrow, especially on the front 9. This course is about shot placement. Not a walking course. Lots of hills and valleys. Nicely challenging.

Significant changes have been made since 2006 including a nice club house and improvements to the course. The front nine does play quite short, but there is a bit of a challenge with many awkward lies and undulating greens to protect the holes as much as possible. New bunkers have been changing the way you play a few holes. The back 9 plays totally different from the front. It's much longer and more challenging from the tips. Again, the greens ungulate quite a bit and when set up fast you may find yourself putting off the green. Overall the improvements have made it a nice local golf course worth playing. If you come to play 9 ask for the back 9. To bad they can't match the front with the back. The course would move up in playability.
