Paris Landing State Park Golf Course

This course opened in 1971, although #12 underwent a redesign in 1994. The in-season (March-October) walking rates are $22 weekdays and $25 weekends (carts are $15). Senior and junior discounts are available, while season passes are also offered.

I rate this a very high 3 or a low 4. I played in the winter and maintenance was not like what I would rate a 4, but the scenery was very good. Lake is beautiful and deer are everywhere. It's a very fair course without punishing bunkers and penalizing holes, and also with good variety of club selection.

Excellent course for a State Park. Only problem is on both days we played (a Saturday and Sunday) we followed a scramble tournament. The group ahead of us on Saturday was even a fivesome. It was very slow! No marshals out to speed things up that we could see. Greens were in great shape and the scenery and wildlife was beautiful. We saw deer, snakes, and plenty of mosquitos. Fun course to play!
