Highland Rim Golf Course

This 18-hole parkland-style course was designed by architect Jim Kirkley, Sr. with 1963 U.S. Women's Open champion Mary Mills. It is medium-length course, playing from 4,417 to 6,217 yards, but one interesting design quirk is that the course ends with consecutive par-5s at 17 and 18.

The standard rates are $28 weekdays and $38 weekends.

PLAYED 7/21/12 FIRST WEEKEND AFTER IT HAD BEEN CLOSED FOR NEW GREENS. WAS TOLD THEY WERE 75% IN AND IN OK SHAPE. COURSE WAS OPENED TO SOON. NO GRASS ON GREENS,ROUGH HAD NOT BEEN MOWED AND SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR MONEY BACK AFTER FIRST THREE HOLES. WONT PLAY AGAIN THERE TILL NEXT YEAR AND MAYBE NOT EVER

Beautiful course that is tougher than its rating due to extremely tight fairways. If you are off the fairway you are taking a stroke and breaking out a new ball. If you have a bad slice then do yourself a favor and play another course.

Very challenging course for it's length! Full color GPS in cart is very helpful. Today's pace was VERY SLOW (possibly due to Holiday). Marshall's were out, but didn't seem to be doing much to speed up play. Overall, I think it was a very good value!
