This Ken Killian design opened in 1988 as a private club, but after the SIM Group purchased the course in 1996, public daily-fee play was permitted. The course itself runs through thick stands of pines and hardwoods and features over 50 bunkers and a 17-acre lake. The course has hosted U.S. Open qualifying and at least one USGA junior tournament, Columbia's City Amateur, and many other events. A practice facility and grill are also on the premises.
The peak rates (before 12:00 p.m. ET) with cart are $39 weekdays and $49 weekends. Afternoon, twilight, college, senior, military, and law enforcement discounts are available. The rate during the week of the Masters Tournament is $69. Memberships are also offered.
The course is open Tuesdays through Sundays during the summer, and then all-week otherwise.

Course was in very good shape considering the amount of rain we have had in the area the past few weeks, greens were smooth, good speed. Rough was very thick and fairways were great. Good tough course from the tips. Great value.

Greens were lightning quick. Pin placements were ridiculous on some holes. I enjoyed the course.
