This Tripp Davis design is located near Lake Lewisville and emulates several famous holes from Scottish courses such as Muirfield, Prestwick, Saint Andrews, and Troon. Golf Digest magazine included the Tribute on their 2005-06 list of "100 Greatest Public Courses."

What a fun course! Paid $100, which includes round, cart, range balls, and we also got a dozen Nike Vapor balls. We walked the course, which costs the same as riding, but they allow it. A few hikes from green to tee but overall pretty walkable.

Pace of play was very good. We got around in about 3:40 but the course wasn't very crowded. Foursome behind us kept up.

Course was in excellent shape for the time of year. Greens were fast and smooth. In a few weeks the whole course will be green and lush.

Layout was really fun. A few bucks on a yardage book would've been money well spent.

Staff was very friendly and service was good. We saw a cart girl about every 4 holes or so.

Too expensive for me to play very often, but if you typically play $50-60 per round, I think this is worth treating yourself to for $100. Most enjoyable round I've had in a while.

We played for $70...and I think that was right on point. I like the course a lot but I wouldnt pay $140 to play it. The course needed more yardage markers...we played on a day that it was cart path only which made it difficult to run back and forth to the cart.

$140 is a joke. Unless you get some sort of deal, i would not play here. The course is really nice but nowhere near worth $140
