Verdae Greens Golf Club

The lush greens and vibrant pastels of the golf course at Verdae Greens Golf Club brighten every player's prospects for an enjoyable round of golf. For the past nine years Verdae Greens has been the proud home of the Greater Greenville Classic.

Verdae is a challenging course with tight fairways and trouble everywhere. The greens (bermuda) can be somewhat "grainy" at times especially during the winter months but in the hotter months are very true, a little on the slow side. The fairways and rough (bermuda) are some of the finest in the upstate with a great maintenance program. The spring flowers are also a treat, unless your ball finds them. If you're hitting your driver well this course should be a great trip. The only real complaint I have is the Pro Staff in the clubhouse. The attitude is very "snobby" and standoff-ish. Our Golf League at work has had issues with the staff in the past. The course staff (starters, Green's Keepers, etc.) couldn't be any nicer. The practice facilites are great and the restaurant has good food and cold beer. If you can look past a few "bad apples" then Verdae Greens Golf Club will be a great place to play.
