Glenwood Golf Club

This Fred Finlay design dates to 1927, so it is the oldest public course in the Richmond area. The standard walking rates here are $24 weekdays and $28 on weekends (carts are $15). Senior, student, and twilight discounts are available.

A decent old school (built in 1927) course that unfortunately is surrounded by "the hood" in east Richmond. Some people won't play there because of that, but for the most part the course exists separate from the rough neighborhoods that surround it. It's a wide open and forgiving course.
