Speargrass Golf Club

This attractive course runs alongside the Bow River about 30 miles south of Calgary and debuted in 2003 with a design by Gary Browning. Even with the Canadian Rockies as a backdrop, this course has a pronounced prairie flavor, with fairways framed by native and fescue grasses. Four sets of tees stretch the course from 4,968 to 6,698 yards, while the holes are evenly distributed with six par-3s, six par-4s, and six par-5s.

Speargrass has chosen to *not* be a member of Alberta Golf or Golf Canada (f.k.a. Royal Canadian Golf Association), so no valid slope-and-ratings data exists for the course.
