Warrenbrook Golf Course

Warrenbrook Golf Course is a heavily wooded and extremely tight, 6,372 yard, 18 hole course. The contours provide plenty of uphill and downhill lies. Unless you are in pretty decent shape, a cart would be recommended.

I was expecting to use a golf cart but noticed a lot of players (including seniors) using push carts. Surprisingly, this is a course that you CAN walk so long as you're in ok shape. Pace of play was very good (we played on a day where there was a 50% chance of rain). Wooded areas makes hitting straight imperative. That's not to say that you can't find your ball in the wooded spots, but rather you will need to punch out. Favorite hole is 17 since it's over water.

If you're walking, get ready for a workout. Very hilly course in spots. A lot of hilly lies in the fairways. Lots of tight, tree lined driving holes and blind shots. Greens are nothing to write home about. Aside from Neshanic, probably my favorite Somerset County course.
