Heritage Golf Club

This Dan Maples design is generally regarded as one of the better public-access courses in South Carolina. The course runs over 600 acres of old-growth magnolias and oaks, featuring fresh-water lakes and marshes.

Best conditioned course played on this trip. Better that Caledonia and True Blue. Greens and fairways in immaculate condition. A great layout and test of ability. A little tacky charging $2 for GPS when greens fees over $100. Friendly staff made for an enjoyable day. Will definitely play again.

Pretty awesome. Greens were nuts. Crazy undulations so 3-putts a-plenty. Fair though.

I have played The Heritage Plantation 3 times and it is my favorite course in the Myrtle Beach area. A very challenging course and always in excellent condition.

The course was good, but not in great condition. Leaves were all over the course (not cleaned off the fairway) and maintenence kept working as we were playing on the course. Staff was friendly.

Played on 8/21/08 - This is a beautiful course with many awesome holes. We played in winds up to 25 MPH and it made the course even more interesting. Staff was great. Course was in wonder shape despite the heavy rains over night. Have now played this course four times and will continue to do so since it is one of the best on the Strand.
