Erin Hills Golf Course

Erin Hills Golf Course rests on a 652-acre site in the small town of Erin, 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Regarded by enthusiasts as one of the best natural sites for a golf course in the United States, Erin Hills hosted the 2008 USGA Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship, becoming the first course to receive an official USGA event before opening day. The course has since been awarded the 2011 U.S. Amateur Championship.

Inspired by the classic Scottish and Irish courses that were once built by horse-drawn plows, Erin Hills is environmentally friendly, with very minimal land development aside from the course itself - dirt needed to be moved on only four holes.
