Legacy Golf Club

The Legacy Golf Club will be a golf course that can be enjoyed by players of all abilities. Novice golfers will enjoy the choice of four different tee areas on each hole and ample fairway room for driving the ball. The experienced golfer will be challenged by the precision required for approach shots and the undulating putting surfaces. All golfers will be impressed by the manicured bent grass fairways, tees and greens and the thick, lush green Kentucky blue grass rough areas.

While not offering much in terms of scenery (unless you like horses), this is a great course. Tricky greens and interesting hole layouts make for a serious challenge. Most holes are forgiving off the tee should you hook/slice.

A challenging and lengthy course. Nice layout. A few really good holes and some really stupid ones as well. Nice fairways; course has been in good shape everytime I've played it. The big problem is the greens. They're fast...ok I can live with that. But the slope, fall, and undulations (or ridges in some cases that run through the middle) are ridiculous. A real golf course from tee to green, and then it turns into a putt-putt miniature golf course. Play it once a year and then don't bother. There are much better courses in central Iowa to play.
