![]() University Place, WA 98467-1060 www.ChambersBayGolf.com 253.460.4653 This public course (owned by the County of Pierce) will host the men's 2015 U.S. Open Championship. In preparation for that, the course hosted the men's 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship (Peter Uihlein def. David Chung). Since then, a number of changes to the course have begun. While the term "links-style" course is often misused in describing golf courses, Chambers Bay actually has these sorts of characteristics, thanks in part to the design by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The course is also an Audubon-certified Signature Sanctuary. The peak-season (June-September) rate here is $205, although club members, Pierce County residents, and Washington state residents receive various discounts. Course Details

Excellent. Maintenance was poor on the greens, it appears to be in the middle of reseeding for the US Open. Amazing layout and top notch staff. First time playing with a caddy and Nick made it an awesome experience. So may local tricks. Wow! Awesome day today. Spectacular views. Got a caddy and Juan saved me five strokes easily. Highly recommended Simply a spectacular course. Challenging greens, difficult rough, beautiful scenery -- an all around spectacular course. Well worth the price of admission, and I cannot wait until the 2015 US Open to see how the pros challenge it. Site of the 2015 US Open. Spectacular views of the bay! Great layout for the property. Only 1 tree on the course, but each hole is memorable and framed well. Fescue grass from tee to green. A good walking course with some hill climbs. Your Review
