Nestled between Southern California's largest natural lake, Lake Elsinore, the Ortega Mountains and the Cleveland Natural Forest, the Links at Summerly's stunning par-72, nearly 7,000-yard layout was designed by renowned golf course architect Cal Olson to fit seamlessly into the landscape - incorporating natural mounding, pristine rolling terrain and three miles of Scottish-style burns to provide the look and feel of traditional links-style courses of the British Isles. Kidney-shaped bunkers abound, while numerous twists and turns will challenge golfers of all skill levels to use every club in their bag in order to navigate this breathtaking masterpiece.

You cannot find a better deal in Southern CA. Under $40 gets you a well maintained course that you can finish in under 3.5 hours. Nobody plays on this couse during the week. Sign up for their specials on the website and you can play for under $20 super twilight. The course is challenging (buy a yardage book) but at least it makes you play most of the clubs in your bag (unlike some courses where the par 3's are all 150 yrds and you can hit driver off the tee on every par 4 and 5. First time playing is rough, after that you can have a good time.

can't beat $40 during the week. course is mostly deserted. its in the middle of a development area that fell through due to the housing market so there's nothing but dirt, dead grass, and really green grass. fairways are great, green rolls true, and the course is probably the only chance you'll get in CA to play a links-esque course. beware the burns. they're everywhere.
