Osgood Golf Course

This 9-hole course is one of five (and the newest) owned by the City of Fargo. Walking saves a $16 cart fee from the rates shown below.

In addition to the nine-hole course, Osgood GC also boasts a three-hole, par-10 practice course that stretches from a total of 390 yards (yellow tees) to 720 yards (black tees).

pretty nice course overall. I wish they would build a back 9 sooner rather then later as Fargo needs more 18 hole courses.

Played course twice since it opened. It is a shorter muni, but I am beginning to be charmed by its hidden character.
1) It is a great educational center. Pro is very good with lessons and there are three separate holes for training only.
2) There is no such thing as a flat fairway. This part of ND is FLAT!!!! This course is not!!! Frequently your ball is above or below your feet. Many holes provide multiple options to avoid bunkers, mounds, and angle of approach to green. Bunkers are varied with some deep ones to challenge poor shots or choices.

I am now studying the maps and watching others to learn how to play this course better. It is quite fun and unexpectedly challenging.
