Oxmoor Valley

Part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Oxmoor Valley has two regulation-length courses and a shorter 18-hole courses.

The Ridge Course includes heavy tree cover and elevation changes of as much as 150 feet. The course runs over former mining land, demonstrated at #12 as the green is buttressed by a shelf of exposed shale.

The Valley Course includes several lakes and finishes with a 441-yard par-4 nicknamed "The Assassin."

The Short Course is an 18-hole par-3 course that was listed in Golf Digest's Places to Play as one of the nation's "Great Value" courses.

The Valley course was in pristine condition. The Ridge had more challenging tee shots. I preferred the bent grass greens on the ridge course.

Favorite Hole is #3 a 506yd downhill par 5 with a pond in the middle of the fairway,and a rock face behind the green.

The Short course is a hidden jem. Perfect for a quick 2 hour round after work.
