City Park Golf Course

This mature municipal course was recently upgraded with new tee-boxes, new irrigation, and a restaurant. The 18-hole course feature some fairly tight fairways and small greens. The course is located directly north of the Denver Zoo, about five minutes' drive east of downtown.

The standard fees are $26 weekdays and $35 weekends.

Deceivingly challenging course especially with usual high wind gusts. Long front 9 with strategically placed trees and bunkers. Pace is usually slow do to the participation. Only public course in the center of the city.

This is an old, traditional golf course with tight fairways, small, sloped greens and strategically placed impediments. The views of the city and the mountains are unsurpassed in the area. The on-site amenities are absolutely first rate. The course has a beautiful clubhouse complete with restaurant and pro shop and one of the best practice areas and ranges in the Denver Metro. The staff at the golf course is top notch, complete with three excellent pros whose instruction is second to none. Well worth the time if you play golf in Colorado
