Built in 1896, the Martin course was the original home of the Hamilton Golf & Country Club. The longer and higher-profile Beddoe course debuted in 1942 with nine holes designed by Stanley Thompson; the full 18 was open by 1951, although construction of the 403 freeway necessitated a partial re-routing of holes during the 1960s. The green fees on the Beddoe course are C$50 Mondays through Thursdays, then C$55 on Fridays, weekends and, holidays (carts are C$34). Rates for the Martin course are roughly C$15 lower.
