Blanchard, who rose to become Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force. Gen. Blanchard died of a heart attack while on active duty at the Pentagon in 1966. Since this 18-hole course is located on an active military installation; guests from off-base should check ahead with the course for availability, including whether or not they need to be accompanied by a golfer with a valid DoD-issued ID.
