This parkland-style course opened in South Surrey in 1962 and underwent some renovations in 2003. Hazelmere hosted the Canadian Tour's annual City of Surrey Invitational, which was last played in 2009. The course is located roughly one mile north of the international border between Canada and the United States.

The peak-season walking rates are C$49 on Mondays and Tuesdays, C$59 on Wednesdays through Fridays, then C$69 on weekends and holidays (carts are C$18/person).
