Chapel Hill Country Club

Chapel Hill was built in the 1920′s in a parkland setting along the Fox River outside Chicago. The course owners are having over 120 new trees planted every year.

The standard walking rates are $24 weekdays and $29 weekends and holidays; the rates with a cart are $32 and $39, respectively.

Old course that has a 703 yd hole. Course is kind of charming in its own way
We forgot our GPS on this trip to NE IL and all the courses (except Chalet Hills) lacked yardage markers.

Nice layout, and nice, tough greens. Hardly a difference between fairway and rough and there always seems to be very slow players who have never heard of letting someone play through. Theres never a ranger
