Very enjoyable. Short but in great condition. Not much of a challenge. My son loved it! He is 6 years old and they have special tee's for kids. We stayed right across the street at The Hyatt Resort.

What would you expect from a Maui beachfront course? Apart from the gorgeous views of Lana'i and Moloka'i the hospitality is total A-lo-haaa!
The Kai course is apparently the easier of the two so I played 3 rounds for the week. The fairways are very well groomed, the rough is a fluffy kind of Bermuda that can really grab your club but the ball tends to lie well. The greens are beatiful and well manicured. Breaks were really hard for me to read but the speed seemed pretty consistent.
I little tip, If you sign up at the Marriott to take their sales tour, they offer complimentary two rounds of golf at either Ka'anapali tracks as long as inventory lasts.
The on-demand snack cart and cool after-round towels are great. They will store your clubs for you if you wish and they give 'em a good scrub-down when you're done.
Man, I could get used to resort golf treatment.
