Challenge at Manele, The

One of the rare Jack Nicklaus-designed courses where the public is welcome, the Challenge at Manele is located above Hulopo'e Bay and features lava outcroppings, with three holes on cliffs that use the Pacific Ocean as a water hazard. The locateion and views are such that whales in the Pacific Ocean can occasionally be seen from the course.

The standard fee for guests of both hotels of the Four Seasons Resort Lana'i is $210; non-guests pay $225. Replay and 9-hole rates are also available.

Staff is top notch at this 4 Seasons resort course. Pace of play was great, had the course to ourselves. Course was in great condition. Food and beverage was quite pricey as you might expect.
