Palouse Ridge Golf Club at Washington State University

Carved from a rolling, nearly treeless site within the Washington State University campus in Pullman, Palouse Ridge was designed by John Harbottle III to challenge the nation’s top collegians from the Crimson tees at 7,305 yards. However, multiple sets of genderless tees at 6,723, 6,172, 5,552 and 5,106 yards were placed to accommodate players at all ability levels.

Routinely swept by brisk swirling breezes, the golf course is marked by a 100-foot elevation change, 49 shaggy-edged bunkers, two lakes, numerous wetlands and expansive views of distant peaks from its elevated tees. Expertly strategized, this well-groomed layout, arguably the Inland Empire’s finest course, is a true representation of the Palouse. Players will encounter a firm, fair test with exceptional rhythm, pace and variety from start to finish.
