Woodmont Golf Club

Built at a cost of $14.5 million, Woodmont GC represents Robert Trent Jones Jr.'s first design within the state of Georgia. Shortly after it opened, Georgia Golf News named Woodmont the "best new course" in the state.

Woodmont is semi-private, so public play is welcome; the standard rates are $60 Mondays through Thursdays, $70 on Fridays, and $80 on weekends and holidays. Junior, senior, women's, sliding twilight, 9-hole, and guest-of-member rates are also offered at various times; advance booking is recommended.

I played WMGC for the 2nd time and it was a wonderful day, great course, very challenging holes and perfect set-up. Good value for the money. Just play it!
