Stonewolf Golf Club

Stonewolf is more than a Jack Nicklaus designed course, which in and of itself is pretty impressive. This is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course. That means the man, the legend himself, Jack Nicklaus took an active hand in the total design and construction of this magnificent golf course. This is one of only four Jack Nicklaus Signature courses in Illinois and Missouri!

Stonewolf is in my opinion the best public course in the St. Louis area. You either hate this course or you love it. The haters are those who think driver if the right club for every tee shot. Stonewolf is all about course management and club selection. Hit he right club and you'll do ok, hit the right club to the right spot and you'll do great. It doesn't play horribly long, but many of the fairways are not designed to be compatible with the grip it and rip it style of golf. Great staff, very well maintained course with consitent green speeds on all greens. Tough course overall but you won't be sorry you played. It's an even better value if you sign up for their e-club promotions. Jack done good at Stonewolf.

Totally impressed with the whole course, the people that work Stonewolf go over & beyond! This course's score card might look a little easy but many holes will challenge you, club selection is very critical.
