TPC San Antonio

TPC San Antonio is a private resort accessible only to members and guests of the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa.

The courses run over 2,800 rolling acres of the Cibolo Canyons development. The Oaks Course (host site of the PGA Tour's Texas Open) was designed by Greg Norman with Sergio Garcia as a consultant. The Canyons course is a co-design by Pete Dye and consultant Bruce Lietzke, and hosts the San Antonio stop on the Champions Tour.

No doubt, it's pricey, but this is a luxury purchase and they earn their fee with the maintenance of the course. Bring your A game or plenty of balls. Avoid in the summer, avoid all golf in Texas in the summer though.

Played it last weekend before closed for PGA. The overseeded rough killed me. Was way too long to walk and completely ran out of steam. Still a great experience and it felt really cool hitting into greens with stands around it.
