The Fort Golf Resort

Located on the old Fort Benjamin Harrison, it seems appropriate that an Indiana architect (Pete Dye) would be the one to lay out this course, which plays to 7,148 yards (par 72) from the tips and 5,045 yards from the front. This part of 'Fort Ben' is noted for the gorgeous woods and rolling terrain, and is well-regarded amongst golfers in Indiana; many charity and corporate outings take place here.

Given the course's history as an Army post, it is appropriate that military personnel receive reduced greens fees here.

Absolutely a beautiful course, and probably my favorite! Expensive? Yes! It's the type of course I aim to play twice a year. Have played here several times and haven't experienced the issues cknox1979 has. Usually have 2 groups in front of you at the 1st tee box, but once they start it's been steady for me. Not the most challenging of courses, but definitely great layout and very well manicured.

What a great layout, and so well-manicured. However, I can not enjoy a 6-hour round of golf. I have played there at 1 p.m. on a Tuesday, as a 2-some, and it took us 6 hours. And on the 1st tee, there were 2 other groups who were given our identical tee time!!! I will never pay to play there again.
