Clustered Spires is an 18 hole golf course with 2 practice putting greens, a practice bunker, a 3 tiered grass driving range, and a restaurant. The green fees are as follows. For more information, please call the Clustered Spires Pro Shop at (301) 600-1295. Tee times may be reserved 7 days in advance by calling or visiting the Pro Shop.

Nice playable course - in very good shape - greens rolled well. Only drawback was that the course is near the local airport so on Sunday there was a constant noise of helicopters overhead and small planes taking off.

Very pleasant golfing experience. Playable, fun and would come back. If you strike the ball properly you can score well here. The greens are wonderful and in excellent shape.

Clustered Spires is a wonderful course, owned and lovingly maintained by the City of Frederick. Layout is modest, on mostly flat terrain, with water coming into play on seven holes, but only if one is very wild. Big hitters can rip hard here. Fairwsy are always lush, almost to country club standards. Bunkers are plentiful, and generally well placed and well maintained. Greens tend to be medium-large, with some heavily contoured, and all putting moderately fast and consistent. As a muni course, it gets lots of play, and is a little off the main track, so a call ahead for times and directions is prudent. Staff is generally good, but one starter in particular can get a bit officious, and some of the help in the snack bar is not especially attentive. Prices in the snack bar are competitive. Pro shop staff is always top notch, and the shop is well stoked with all manner of stuff. Well worth the modest price.
